Serving the community for 185 years, we are a Christian congregation for the community of Pound Ridge and surrounding areas and are affiliated with the New York/Connecticut district in the New York Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church.
You're invited to worship every Sunday at 10:00 am. Come as you are! We offer free Sunday School for kids in PreK through 5th grade every week, and for 6th - 8th grade on the second Sunday of each month. Kids sit with their parents in the sanctuary, then go up front for the Children's Time message from Pastor Jim and then they are taken to their classes. If you’re new, feel free to join them! But know that we are a Safe Sanctuary. All volunteers have been background checked, reference checked and we’ve know them a long while! Feel free to have your kids join in mid-year, when you’re in town, or whenever you can make it! We’re always happy to see them!
Our facilities are completely accessible, via ramps and elevators. Handicapped restroom on lowest floor.
Thank you for stopping by our website. We'd love to welcome you in person as well.
Pastor Jim Van Schaick
Disaster Relief: How you can help
We partner with the United Methodist Committee on Relief. 100% of donations received at UMCOR go to helping those affected by disasters. The organization itself is supported by UMC churches worldwide. You can give directly at www.umcor.org.
Pound Ridge Community Church put together 50 UMCOR (United Methodist Committee on Relief) Cleaning Buckets that were delivered to one of the UMCOR collection sites to be readied for shipment to one of the hurricane affected areas.
You may also send UMCOR donations to PRCC, 3 Pound RIdge Road, Pound Ridge, NY 10576 or click on the green Give Online Button at right.
