Ministries 

We have many activities, groups and programs happening on a regular basis.   Here's a little description of each...

  • Sunday Worship & Sunday School -  10:00 a.m.

    A traditional, but casual worship service proclaiming God’s grace and love through the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Each service includes a Children’s Time. 

    Fall through Spring: 

    A fun, rotation style Sunday school for grades Pre-K thru 8th.  Kids start out in the sanctuary with their parents.

    8th grade Confirmation class meet scheduled Sunday afternoons

    Nursery care is also available during worship service.

    Coffee Hour after church each week.

    Holy Communion is celebrated on the first Sunday of each month.


  • Sunday School

    All kids in the community are invited.  We group kids into three age-based groups and they rotate to three different activity-based centers to experience a bible story in three different ways.  This format speaks to the different learning styles of kids.

    Our church is a Safe Sanctuary place of worship.  Children are protected and valued.  There are 2 adults with the children at all times.

  • Playschool

    Our Playschool program has been a part of the community for over 40 years.   Click here for more details.

  • Lifenotes and KidsNotes

    Once a month, we publish two short newsletters describing the happenings of the church and its members.

     

  • Committee on Missions and Outreach

    Our Committee on Missions and Outreach has overseen a wide range of charitable endeavors, from supporting local food pantries and community centers, to distant projects like building a school in Afghanistan and  providing clean drinking water in Malawai.  In 2008, our annual Lobster Festival raised $10,000 for A-Home, an organization providing affordable housing.  2009's Lobster Festival provided $10,000 to the Northern Westchester Shelter, Inc. an organization helping victims and striving to stop the cycle of domestic violence.  See the Missions Page for more.

  • Bible Study

    The Wednesday afternoon Bible Study is from 1 - 2:30 p.m. and will be a study of Isaiah.  All are invited to attend regardless of religious or no religious upbringing.  In fact, some in the group don't even go to our church.  Each person's perspective and insight is valued as together we explore what Romans teaches us.  Come learn with us.  Please speak with Pastor Lori Miller for more information.  You can jump in at any time.  Please call 914-764-9000.  We welcome you!

  • Women's Connection

    The Women’s Connection of PRCC is a vital and active part of the church, and, if you’re female, you’re automatically a part of it.  So come get involved.  There are many varied interests reflected in our activities, so you should be able to find something that appeals to you.  If not, let us know what’s your interest and we’ll add that.  See Women's Connection Page.

  • Men's Breakfast

    Men meet once a month for a short program and a delicious breakfast at the church.    All men of the congregation and community are invited.  Please speak with John Halbrook.
